Navagraha Dosha Parihara Homa
June 3 @ 9:00 am - 1:00 pm
On Jun 3rd, 2017 we will be participating in a rare and powerful Navagraha Dosha Parihara Homa.
‘Nava’ means nine. ’Graha’ means planets. As per Vedic Astrology, there are nine planets that influence our lives. The position of the planets at the time of human birth have influence on our actions & reactions to different situations in life.
The improper planetary alignment for an individual is called “dosha” or negative influence. Due to these “Navagraha doshas” people fall into negative situations.
Significance of Performing Navagraha Dosha Parihara Homa at the Nithyanandeshwara Temple
The presiding deity of the temple, Sri Nithyanandeshwara Linga, a replica of Sri Kalahasteeswara of Sri Kalahasti temple, adorns the Navagraha Kavacha – nine steps representing the Navagrahas. The temple has been specifically blessed & energised by H.H. Paramahamsa Nithyananda to radiate the special energy of Navagraha dosha shanti. It is the Parihara Sthala (a sacred place that removes malicious effects) for the Navagraha doshas for the visitors and devotees of the temple. By participating in the Navagraha Dosha Parihara Homa, devotees connect to the cosmic intelligence, receive divine blessings, avert life hindrances & experience tremendous bliss & success in life.
