In Sanskrit, Lakshmi’ means ‘intensified goal’.

Devi Lakshmi is the goddess who presides over the dimension of wealth. She represents the quality of being total in our pursuit, no matter what the goal. Any goal pursued with intensity naturally brings wealth into our life.

Sri Venkateshwara at our Houston Aadheenam is most special, as He embodies the very same energy as Tirupati Venkateshwara. Lord Venkateshwara, at Houston Aadheenam is the only deity who has received the Yantra Stapana of the same Sudarshan Yantra of Tirupati Balaji.

Worshipped under the name Maha Kali, Goddess Durga Devi is revered as a manifestation of the Universal Mother, Parvati. Durga Devi riding the lion is the symbol of strength and courage. She is worshipped by all communities particularly during Navaratri (the nine nights of celebrating the Divine Feminine).
